Senior Photography

High school senior photography in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Northeast Florida. Bring your personality, your hobbies, and whatever makes you you. We'll have some fun, try a few ideas, and make sure your parents get those frame-worthy portraits, too.

Let's talk about your photos

High School Senior Photography in Jacksonville & St. Augustine

Let’s be realistic. Not every high school senior is excited about having their picture taken.

Sometimes the parents are looking forward to senior portraits a lot more than the person who’s actually going to be in front of the camera. And I get it. Having someone point a camera at you for an hour can feel pretty awkward, especially if you’re not used to being photographed.

My goal is to make senior sessions something everyone can enjoy. I want parents to get the beautiful, traditional portraits they’re hoping for, but I also want seniors to have some fun and walk away with photographs that actually feel like them.

Senior Portraits That Feel Like You

I like to spend time talking with seniors throughout their session, getting to know them and figuring out what they’re comfortable with. I’ll give plenty of direction, so there’s no expectation that you need to know how to pose.

I also like to start with movement whenever possible. Sometimes it’s easier to relax when you’re doing something instead of standing still and wondering what to do with your hands.

If you’re involved in sports, maybe we start with some action shots. If you’re a little more reserved, we’ll take our time, try a few things, and see what feels natural.

I also want your input. Are there photographs you’ve seen that you’d love to try? Are there poses you think look ridiculous and absolutely don’t want to do? Tell me.

I’d much rather make the session a collaboration than have you feel like you’re just being told what to do for an hour.

Bring Your Hobbies, Interests, and Personality

I want senior sessions to reflect the person being photographed. If you’re into sports, music, gaming, or something completely different, I’m happy to incorporate those interests into your pictures. Bring your uniform, instrument, or whatever else you’d like to include, and we’ll come up with some ideas together.

We can keep things traditional, get a little silly, or do some of both.

The same goes for locations. I’ll help find places around Jacksonville and St. Augustine that will look great for portraits, but if there’s somewhere meaningful to you, I’d love to work that into the session when possible.

You don’t need to arrive with every photograph planned out. Bring the things you’d like to include, share your ideas, and we’ll figure out what works together.

And yes, we’ll still make time for the classic senior portraits your parents want to frame.

Choosing Your Senior Photography Session

I offer two senior photography collections:

45-Minute Senior Session — $385

A good option for a more straightforward session with time for a variety of portraits.

90-Minute Senior Session — $450

If you’re planning several outfits, sports uniforms, props, or multiple locations, the longer session gives us more flexibility.

I also think the extra time can be helpful for seniors who are a little shy. Sometimes it just takes a while to get comfortable, and having more time together gives us a better chance to relax and have some fun.

Photographs are delivered through an online digital gallery with a print release. There’s no fixed limit on the number of photographs I deliver.

Pictures for Everyone

At the end of a senior session, I want the parents to have those beautiful portraits they’ve been looking forward to. But I also hope the senior had a good time.

Maybe someone who was nervous at the beginning loosened up a little. Maybe we tried an idea that seemed ridiculous but turned out to be a favorite photograph. Or maybe we just managed to laugh a few times along the way.

If we end the session with photographs everyone is excited about, and the senior can honestly say it wasn’t the worst hour of their life, I consider that a win.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

How much do senior portraits cost?

I offer a 45-minute senior photography session for $385 and a 90-minute session for $450.

What if my senior is awkward in front of the camera?

That's completely normal. I'll provide direction, talk with them throughout the session, and often start with movement to help them relax. They don't need any posing experience.

Can we bring sports uniforms or props?

Absolutely! Sports uniforms, musical instruments, hobby-related items, and other personal props are welcome. I love incorporating things that reflect the senior's personality.

Can we take traditional senior portraits, too?

Of course. Even if we spend part of the session trying creative ideas, we'll make time for classic portraits that parents will want to frame.

Can my senior help choose the location?

Definitely. I can recommend scenic locations around Jacksonville and St. Augustine, and I'm happy to consider places that are meaningful to the senior.

Should we book 45 or 90 minutes?

Both can work well. The 90-minute session is especially helpful if you're planning multiple outfits, props, or locations, or if you'd like more time for a shy senior to get comfortable.

Can we change outfits during the session?

Yes. Outfit changes are welcome, although changing takes time away from photographing. If you're planning several outfits, I'd recommend considering the 90-minute session.

Do you offer senior photography outside Jacksonville?

Yes. I photograph senior sessions in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and throughout Northeast Florida.
